In this course, you will be introduced to fundamental Jewish ideas such as Shabbat, keeping kosher, prayer, Israel and Zionism, the synagogue, God and more, all from a traditional Orthodox perspective. No Jewish background is assumed.

About the Presenter

Rabbi Elan Adler was born in Israel, and after 50 years in the US, returned to Israel in 2010. While in the US, Rabbi Adler served as a congregational Rabbi for 25 years, in Stamford, CT and Baltimore, MD.

He was active as President of the Baltimore Board of Rabbis and served on several boards of Jewish organizations, and was a key participant in interfaith circles.

He recently served as principal of a girls high school in Jerusalem.
